Marla Grant is a certified executive coach, experienced attorney and former division Vice President of a global company. She is a co-founder of 20/20 Leadership Group, an international coaching firm that helps lawyers and law firms leaders optimize their success. She is also a co-creator of 20/20 Leadership Group’s Rainmaking Academy, an online business development training and coaching program for lawyers.

Marla combines her real world legal and executive management experience with high-impact strategies and solutions to help her clients achieve valuable business and career results. She helps her clients successfully transition into and strengthen leadership roles, strategically create and leverage powerful business relationships and alliances inside and outside their organizations, effectively retain and develop employees, avoid burnout and gain renewed direction and enthusiasm professionally and personally.

She is a professional speaker for law firms, professional associations, universities, and corporations such as Airbus, the Florida Bar, the Miami Dolphins, and others.  As an industry professional, Marla has been featured in a variety of publications such as the American Bar Association Law Practice Today, National Association for Law Placement Bulletin, Organization of Women in International TradeMiami Herald, Florida Bar Journal, Dade County Bar Association Bulletin, and others.


Throughout her career, Marla has successfully transitioned into leadership roles and her experience as an attorney and corporate executive allows her to relate to her clients in a relevant and applicable way. Marla began her career as a litigator specializing in civil litigation representing a wide range of clients across different industries. Initially, she defended some of the most well-known cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Carnival Cruise Lines. Later, she moved into complex commercial litigation and healthcare litigation.

After many years, she left her successful litigation career to transition into executive management as a division Vice President of a leading global technology company. Marla’s chief responsibility was to oversee client retention through exceptional relationship management. She is a natural at strategically creating and leveraging strong relationships and helping others do the same.

Marla holds a law degree from Boston University School of Law and is certified as an Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching.


Active in the professional community, Marla is a member of numerous national legal and professional organizations such as the Association of Talent Development, Legal Marketing Association, National Association of Women Lawyers, International Coach Federation as well as various local organizations.


A native of Miami, Marla speaks Spanish, is an avid poker player for over 10 years, loves salsa dancing, and has explored over 15 different countries.
